We review every entry. If you're selected, you reserve your spot at the live attempt and go for the record in front of the adjudicator.
Guinness World Records™ attempts come down to evidence. Your qualifier needs to be verifiable, which means we have to be strict about how it's filmed. It also has to be eaten the same way the live attempt runs — one hand, one strawberry at a time. Entries that don't follow these rules can't be considered.
Two separate fees, and you only ever pay the second one if you're actually selected.
A $10 AUD entry fee is payable when you submit the form below. It covers the review and verification of your video and confirms your entry into the qualifying round.
If you're chosen to officially challenge the one-minute record in front of the adjudicator on event day, a further $300 AUD is required to reserve your place on the stage.

Spots on the stage are limited and the live attempt has to run to a tight schedule on the day. The qualifying video lets us select challengers who can genuinely go after the record, and it gives everyone a fair shot no matter where in the country they are.
No. The official Guinness World Records™ attempt can only happen live on event day, in front of the adjudicator, with stewards and witnesses present. Your video is purely for selection.
Ordinary kitchen scales are fine. What matters is that the reading is clearly visible and readable on camera at both the start and the end, and that the bowl doesn't leave the frame between weigh-ins.
Yes — each submission needs its own form and its own $10 entry fee. We'll consider your best verified result.
No age limit. Challengers under 18 need a parent or guardian to consent, and every selected challenger completes a health and safety declaration before competing.
The $10 entry fee covers reviewing and verifying your video, so it isn't refundable once your entry has been assessed. The $300 reservation fee only ever applies if you're selected.

Yes. Your $10 challenge entry is for the qualifying round only — it doesn't get you onto the farm. Book admission separately — adult (15+) $20, child (5–14) $10, concession $15, under 5s free — so you can get in on the day and be counted for the picking record too. Every admission ticket also includes strawberries to pick and take home.
